There are plenty of firewall guides out there. Most give you a low level overview of how to wrangle a specific firewall to play nice with what you need it to do. This is fine, as long as you know what you want – or don’t have a choice. However, with this article I’m hoping to give you a greater insight on what’s out there so you can get as much security as you want, with the minimum of time, effort and all-important cash – and, of course, give you a few nice toys to play with too.
